Framed by the Swiss Alps to the north, scenic Bellagio is a romantic old village situated on Lake Como, Italy (Lake Como is Europe's deepest lake : 1,350 feet (411+ m); it is 47 km (30 mi) long).
Most buildings here are old .... centuries old: sloping, narrow cobblestone streets and stairways are built on the hillside, so that looking up ...or down ... one can see how the houses and shops connect closely with one another other. Many artist studios, open to the public, exist on the winding streets of beautiful Bellagio.
Here: an overview caption of one of the main residential/shopping streets. The buildings of Bellagio really are full of colour and warmth, which I accentuated in this image (I may upload a more sedate version at another time). Meanwhile, enjoy this scene of wonderful, vibrant Bellagio!
