The picturesque Greek island of Corfu, full of natural beauty, is called the Garden Isle Of Greece. It is off the mainland of southeast Greece, the most northern of the Ionian Islands. North to south, the island is about 60 km.
If you're a sun lover, you will like the fact that the sun shines here about 10 hours daily. And if you like heat, you will enjoy the 32 deg.C. temperatures through the summer months.
There are beaches all around the coast of the island: this is one of them, an impromptu capture while driving and exploring the many splendours of this wonderful island.
