Description
The departure from the world is regarded not as a fault, but as the first step into that noble path at the remotest turn of which illumination is to be won.
~Joseph Campbell [fr. The Hero With A Thousand Faces]

The rose originated from Persia. It comes from one of the oldest known perennial shrubs. There are 10,000+ worldwide. If planted in a garden, it is consider to bring abundance.
Roses are equated with romance, peace, and fulfillment; wearing one is believed to bring love. The delicate cream coloured rosebuds were often used symbolically by poets as a metaphor for the affectionate beauty of young girls, and today brides use cream roses them to represent young love. They are also representative of thoughtfulness.

We all have a place we like to retreat to, when we want some downtime - our place of solitude that is special only to ourselves. It is where we recharge, where we regroup our scattered thoughts into one united collective so that when we re-emerge, we feel wholesome, and uplifted. This rose was in a quiet spot all on its own, melting into its little corner of the world. I found it looking very relaxed and mellow.
This rose was captured in Natural Light .. Undedited; Uncropped, : Nature in all its natural splendour.

Wonderful capture ... beauty in the simplicity and the softness. A single rose can be as stunning as a full bouquet... :))

Just found you here now; I'm a hopeless case, I know ... but I thank you from my heart all the same :))
