After exploring the city of Zurich for a few hours, we came upon a small park, and stopped there for a spell. There were several large trees in the park offering some shade from the sun, and a wonderful view of the River Limmet below.
At a far end of the park, I noticed some buildings, their quaint shutters and the lamp in particular caught my eye. The building was very old, although I really couldn't say just how far back in time its history went, but I'm sure it had many stories to tell. Old shutters such as these are nostalgic: they hold many memories of times both past and present.

I had to come to this one immediately since I was out shooting before work today and shutters were all around me in the Old City area of Philly. Great framing on this one and I like your treatment of it very much. I does add romance to the scene, looking like a dream. Very nice choice of quote too. Never heard it before. Like it a lot. L/F
