Description
It is good to have an end to journey towards; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.
~ Ursula K. Le Guin [fr. The Left Hand of Darkness]

Every now and again, I pop in to visit this path, to see the changing colours of the season, or just to have a meditative stroll. The maple tree on this path contributes its distinctive autumn vibrancy, illuminating the foliage skyline (treeline). Most (not all) turn red in autumn. ). These trees grow throughout North America, northern Africa, and Asia, with one species native to England.
A walk in the woods is always a balm to the spirit, and on this particular path, perhaps more so as the symbolism of the maple is healing and kinship.

Oh to go for a walk with a dear friend here, Connie. To converse about and share the beauty with each step. Why is it that while alone it would be fine but with someone special sublime! Now you got me attempting to write poetry, Connie!..............FAV / Like
