Corfu Town is the the capital of the Ionian Greek Island of Corfu. It is the original settlement to the south of the present Corfu City.
There is much history here : some medieval Italy, some arcades of Lisbon, some French Parisian, some British neo-classicism .... and much Greek, of course, both ancient and modern.
The area is rich with shops, cafes, restaurants, tavernas, and street life. If you're a sun lover, you will like the fact that the sun shines here about 10 hours daily. And if you like heat, you will enjoy the 32 deg.C. temperatures through the summer months.
Here, a candid urban summertime slice of life capture in the heat of the day as we were casually strolling along through the city. Life is relaxed here. I saw a few traffic stoppers here .... how many can you see? :)

Just fabulous Connie !! Great streetshot....he's just like an alien...meeting the lady..or judging the lady in the car about what her movements are going to be :)) I see 4 stoppers at least....maybe 7 that are blocking the view :))
