Walking along the False Creek seawalk into Granville Island in late winter, this pretty scene with the young willow at the water's edge caught my eye. It was a quiet time: the stillness of the area is evident.
This part of Vancouver called False Creek used to be an industrial site until it became the location for the 1986 Exposition (Expo 86). It is s short water inlet, with ten marinas. Two aquaferry scheduled services transport people along a scheduled run of the inlet.
There are a variety of residential neighbourhoods along False Creek: this is one of them.
