Description
Auroras are the natural neon lights of the night sky: different wavelengths of light from gases in the atmosphere that we know more commonly as the aurora borealis, or the northern lights (southern lights near the South Pole).
Solar electrons from the sun become charged by the Earth's magetic field and excite oxygen and nitrogen atoms of the gases to create a shimmering meterological phenomenon for us down below on earth in the polar regions.
Aurora was the Roman goddess of the dawn. Boreas was the Greek name for north wind.
My daffodil created its own natural aurora phenomenon from the movement of the wind, and the sunlit background.

Sometimes I go through my images & find things I didn't know I had! .. glad you found this one too, Jerry; I've noticed some of my images are squished in now .. a little tricky to see them .. {but you did}; always, always a pleasure to see you .. you give me boosts ... sometimes I need them :)))
