Description
"After all," Anne had said to Marilla once, "I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string.
~L.M. Montgomery [fr. Anne Of Avonlea]

This craft has a very long history back in time. Before 3D printing, and glass, beads were made most often from natural substances.
In approx 3100 BC , the Egyptians made beads of clay. The Europeans used bones and teeth; the Native Americans used such things as shells, quills, wood, bone, and semi-precious stones. For some, it was considered a sacred task. In Africa, beads were prized and were used as a form of currency. Archaeologists have found beads there made from ostrich shells that date back to around 10,000 BC!

The simple pleasure of raindroplets, reflective golden pearls on some tall, dry grass that has drooped both from its height, and the weight of its fluid accessories.
Captured in natural light .... uncropped; unedited; nature in all her splendour :)
