Description
What if in your dream you went to heaven and there plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what, when you woke, you had the flower in your hand? Ah! What then?
~ Samuel Taylor Coleridge

The warmth of these cheery blooms has always cheered me. The bees love them, and it is a rare occasion when I don't see one hovering over and in them. We used to have them growing all along our city's seawall, and I have several pictures of friends and family having had their holiday photos taken next to these delicate flowers.
Then, suddenly, they disappeared. These colourful, glowing blooms were no longer. I was both shocked, and saddened.
I did query the authorities responsible for the reason Why this has happened. The official version is: someone had Complained. And that ... is that .....
