a hug from Jewel... yes... I think i was meant to see his image particularly on that day. I do miss her tremendously and think of her often. I think that sign was something i needed... reminded me of her right away. she was unforgettable... chose me as a puppy. :))

Beautiful... so beautiful... makes me teary eyed... my beloved dog Jewel passed away last year on this day. no coincidence that I looked through your Art today and this image and Title caught my eye like i was meant to see... wow... I realize the photo means something else entirely to you Connie... but it sure tugs at my heart and eyes to see. I take it as a sign someone's watching over me, a synchronicity... with my Jewel.
Connie Handscomb replied:
Oh, no, Stephen! so sorry to hear that .. & no, I do not believe it was a Coincidence you found this when you did; synchronicity at its best can leave us visual signs of emotional impact. Your beautiful words have touched me, and I do believe this may very well have been a hug from Jewel :))

Connie, the soft neutrals with the little crystal droplets in this photograph are enchanting! l/f
Connie Handscomb replied:
Thank you, April; we get a fair bit of rain here as you know .. {well, except for this year!} ; so I have opportunities to practice capturing raindrops ; so glad you like them & thank you so much for your support! :))

Congratulations! Your outstanding artwork has been chosen as a FEATURE in the “Peace and Simplicity Outdoors” group on Fine Art America. Really beautiful work Connie, just love the individual reflections in the raindrops.

Beautiful young lady, What I really love about your work (other than the fact every one is just gorgeous) is the titles you have given them. It is easy to see that you do have poetry in your soul. I like that. You also have so much BEAUTY in your soul because you see beauty in so many things even blades of dry grass. You remind me of something I'm convinced of : Beauty in not out there. It's in the soul. The world is precisely a reflection of who or what you are inside. That's why Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "TO THE ILLUMINATED MIND THE WHOLE WORLD IS BURNING AND SPARKLING WITH LIGHT."
Connie Handscomb replied:
Oh my .. I'm so deeply flattered; thank you so very much for your kind words! & Mr. Emerson was a very wise man.. :)))
