Description
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture, still,
treat each guest honourably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the
malice, meet them at the door
laughing, and invite them in.
Be grateful for whomever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
~ Jalal Al-Din Rumi (1207-1273)

Hyacinthoides non-scripta (Wild Hyacinth; fairy flower)
Family : Campanulaceae (Bellflower)
There are about 70 genera and 2,000 species of these blue, lavender, white or even pink wildflowers that grow singly, or in clusters. They can be tall, or clustered; broad leafed, egg or heart shaped. This wildflower has a distinctive shepherd's hook droop to it. Voted Britain's favourite wildflower in a public vote, they can also be found through most of the high western mountains, in eastern Canada and south in the US to North Carolina, throughout Eurasia, and Europe.

Bluebells seem to express themselves in a variety of ways! And I love them all.
Discovered in the shadows of a sheltered space in the wooded park, these pale beauties expressed a unique mood of their own in a combination shade of lavender, pinky blue.
Captured in natural light; unedited; uncropped ... nature in all its splendour :)
