Description
Switzerland has 400 years of peace and they invented a cuckoo-clock.

Meggen is the small municipality on the northern shore of Lake Lucerne (next to Luzern) Switzerland. Whenever we visit our friends in Meggen, we take a walk to Meggenhorn Castle (Schloss Meggenhorn, a prized Swiss heritage site.
The property is large, and strolling through the sizeable estate is always a pleasure. Atop one of the hills overlooking the scenic Lake Luzern below is a bench.
The Swiss are reknowned for their efficiency, and innovativeness. Some of their inventions include Velcro, cellophane, the Swiss Army Knife, absinthe, the potato peeler, Helvetica font, LSD (and its use in treating mental illness), muesli, edible chocolate gold and milk chocolate (and introducing bobsledding, tobogganing and luge as competitive sports).
This light seems to be a thoughtful assurance to allow one to enjoy the view on an evening , without misstepping and falling down the mountainside! A night light in the Swiss Alps :)
