Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.

Japanese anemone (windflower; thimbleweed)
Japonica hupehensis
The Japanese anemone is native to China, and was discovered there in 1844. It was taken to England when Japanese gardens came into vogue. They have since naturalized there, and it is from which most garden hybrids are bred.
This flower has been naturalized in Japan for hundreds of years.
The Japanese anemone can be found on cool, open slopes in North America, and in Europe.
* ------------------ *
It's coming to the end of the cycle for these anemones. The petals have all fallen off one of the blooms; it seems to be gently nudging another as if to say 'see you next season'.

Spring blossoms are so fleeting, Connie. They dazzle us for a brief time and then go away until another season. Very nice tutorial too! Always enjoy your beautiful images....Fav / like

Gorgeous image Connie! I had masses of the white variety of windflowers in the garden of my previous home, I wish I had brought some with me. They're great for growing in shade under trees. I'll have to check the garden centres and see if I can get some again. L/F
