Description
In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that light becomes this art.

Sicilian Honey Bells;Mediterranean Bells;Honey garlic; Sicilian Honey Lily; Sicilian Honey Garlic;
Allium siculum; Allium bulgaricum ; Nectaroscordum siculum
Fr Greek word nektar (the drink of the Olympian gods) + skordian (garlic)
Family : Alliaceae (Amaryllidaceae)
This relation to the Allium family (a relation, because it was given its own species) has a pastel tinted candelebra of waxy, bell-shaped blooms atop a tall stem. These droopy blooms hang down like an umbrella drying itself out upside down, but they stand happily erect once pollinated.
Bees and hummingbirds are attracted to it, and while the butterflies apparently like it, when bruised, the plant exudes a garlicky scent so animals tend to stay clear of it.
This native from Europe, which grows from the Mediterranean through to Romania, grows easily in the Pacific Northwest.

At the edge of the woods in a nearby park , I came upon a cluster of these plants, their blooms cascading down like small chandeliers. My original image captured in the sunlight; uncropped ...nature in all its splendour;)

You've photographed these flowers beautifully Connie, such a dreamy feel. They're not a flower I'm familiar with, but I do have some Australian natives, Correa, flowering in my garden at the moment, they are also little bell shaped flowers, I'm feeling inspired to photograph them after seeing this beauty of yours. L/F
Connie Handscomb replied:
Oh do, Linda! I'm sure your correa will be a beautiful artwork, as all yours are. Thinking of your correa: Hummingbirds love the bell-shaped flowers :))
