Description
We are insignificant creatures on a small rock orbiting a very average star in the outer suburbs of one of a hundred thousand million galaxies.
~ Stephen Hawking
* ----------------------- *
In astronomy, a nebula is a collection of dust and various gases that form a cloud in outer space, hundreds of light years away.
* ----------------------- *
This squared digital artwork began with a macro image of a bright, yellow sunflower.
Through a variety of layers, colours, and effects, the sunflower close-up transformed into its final creation .... its own special galaxy. (If you look closely into the eye of the nebula, you may see its origins).

Oooh... glorious! Love it Connie
Connie Handscomb replied:
Thank you, my friend; I’m not sure if another flower will be speaking to me about going into orbit in the next short while but I’m so very pleased you’re enjoying my Sunflower’s universe in the meantime;)🍃

Wow! Just Wow, Connie! Amazing job you've done to create this from a flower. v/f
Connie Handscomb replied:
It was, Douglas. I played with it so much…… it took on a life of its own, & became something completely different. Sometimes I don’t know where my processes will take me … I just go with the flow. I am so very, very pleased you like this ;)🍃
