I am very partial to lavender for a number of reasons, and our summertime trips to England are not complete without a visit to one of our favorite lavender fields. We do not have to drive far to visit our favorite family-owned certified organic lavender field . This summer past was no exception. We have noticed that the years have brought more and more visitors to the field : the yummy lavender fairy cakes and lavender teas are as popular as the exquisite scent in the air.
Walking through the lavender fields is a great pleasure: the fragrance in the air is a delicious treat as is the steady drone of hundreds of bees buzzing as they feast, all adding to a feeling of peace and well-being. I really wanted to do something with the lavender that was piled on the table.. but unfortunately I'd caught a chunk of a chair on the other side of it, so I played around with the soft effects to hide it! Yes could be intoxicating ... lol .. maybe why we put it on our pillows every night {oil} ; it's become ' a thing' , can't go to sleep without it!;))
