The Palm House at Kew Gardens was designed by Decimus Burton in the 1840's. This Victorian structure is called The Palm House. It is located at Kew Gardens, a World Heritage Site famous for its botanical gardens (aka The Royal Botanic Gardens). The Monarchy handed over the gardens to the public in 1841. Today, it displays no fewer than 30,000 plants. A scientific research centre is also on the premises.

It had been a while since we had visited Kew Gardens, so this summer past we spent some time at this wonderful, popular, iconic Victorian park. It was a bright, sunny day, with colourful blooms lining the walkways and beyond.
