I think .... I think ... this stately tree is a mountain ash, or from its family, but I am not entirely sure. I am going to double-check, and will post more information on it when I get more details my next visit to the area.
This is a very tall tree, a majestic specimen, with its branches spanning wide, offering cool, sheltering sanctuary below.
Its golden leaves captivated me against the brilliance of the bright, blue sky, and the sunshine of the day. I share it here with you ;)

So beautiful Connie! The golden leaves against the blue sky do look lovely. I'm thinking this tree could be a Gleditsia, there's a variety Sunburst that opens with yellow leaves that turn to lime green.

Now there's a thought .. the leaves are shaped like a Rowan but I don't recall ever seeing any berries on it ... unless not all rowans have berries?
