Calla Lily

Family : Araceae
There are but a few species of this wildflower indigenous to tropical Africa. Their ethereal beauty so loved here is often regarded as an unwanted weed in its native country.
The Calla Lily is not really a lily at all: it actually belongs the same family as the caladium and philodendron. They are commonly white but also grow in a variety of colours.
It is used at weddings, a new beginning - as a symbol of marital bliss...

Hello Connie, the title of this lovely piece reminds me of Albert Einstein, interestingly enough. He demonstrated that space and time are inexorably interconnected. That's why physicists no longer talk about time or space separately. They always talk about space-time CONTINUUM.

Oh, Connie, the wisdom of the Cheshire Cat! So few get it and truth be told, it took me a good while before I understood it. To me it's all about leadership. If one does not know the direction one is going in, all those that follow will be lost. Now, this stunning capture of the Calla Lily?
