Description
While you are talking,
Point not with your Finger at him [to]
Whom you Discourse nor Approach too near him to whom you talk, especially to his face.
~ George Washington [at age 16, Rules of Civility Decent Behaviour in Company and Conversation]

Hyacinth (Hyacinthaceae)
This boldly fragranced springtime bulb grows wild in the Mediterranean, in its original colours of violet, blue and white. It was cultivated in the 16th century, and by the 19th century became as collectable as the tulip, and as highly prized.
The hyacinth can grow without soil.

While finger pointing is not an acceptable social norm, floral petal pointing is treasured universally.
A vivid pink fragrant hyacinth, captured in natural sunlight .... uncropped; unedited .... nature in all its springtime splendour :)
