Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Nothing about the common field poppy is narcotic. (It is the Asian species Papaver somniferum where opium comes from by cutting & tipping the juice from the unripe seed heads; the dry seeds are entirely edible, & are the poppy seeds we like to use in baking). The common poppy seeds are used in baking but are less flavorful than the Asian species.
The poppy is popular worldwide. The red poppy is common in Britain; it is a symbol of remembrance (and the flower of Norfolk and Essex). It is also found on Egyptian tomb paintings. In Persia, it is known as the flower of love.
