Windswept metal print by Connie Handscomb. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Anemone
Anemone coronaria (poppy anemone)
Family : Ranunculaceae
There are several species of anemones (about 120) which bloom from spring through until the autumn.
Anemos, in Greek, means wind. The anemone was known as the Daughter Of The Wind because it was believed the wind was responsible for the flowers opening. Ironically, it prefers a protected area away from the wind, the gusts of which can snap its fragile stems.
In the 16th century, John Gerard had twelve different types of anemone. At one time in England, it was the most popular garden flower.
