Description
Grace is found in both intense peace and activity ... Something inside of us
releases, lets go, and says yes in its belonging to the Mystery.

Macro photography brings with it a multitude of happy surprises. My eye
caught something unique here; my lens involved me in its mystery: small,
pristine new growth in an uncommon shade of green, stalks as slim as
toothpicks all vying for their own space.
While their growth activity is going on, there is also a sense of calm and tranquility here, a feeling of peace.Einstein said experiencing mystery is to be feeling the beauty of science and art both. What captured my attention this way may surprise you (I'm tempted not to tell you, just to let you enjoy the mystery) : it was a cluster of baby garden leeks :)
* --------------------------- *
For those who are interested in its botanical information :-
Leek
Allium porrum
The humble leek, the mildest flavour of the onion family, has been used
for thousands of years and praised for its many beneficial health properties.
(Wild leeks are called ramps, and have a more intense flavour). The small
bulb and several layers of white cylindrical stalk flows into tightly wrapped
green leaves.
If planted in your garden, it is said they will bless your home and banish
negative influences, and show you how sweet life can be.

Baby leeks, who would have guessed! Regardless of what it is that you see and capture, each image in your portfolio speaks to me of beauty, elegance, grace, charm and an artist gifted with a special awareness, able to see the uncommon in the most common of places. LF

Connie, you have a gift... to see, feel and be one with the purity of nature... through your lens and your words. Love the beauty ...the mystery...and the revelation. The holy trinity of art...inspired by Grace! l/f Thomas

I like this whole series of images with the very shallow depth field and the warm natural colors.
